Let’s Learn to Painting Amazing Landscape in Oil
Landscapes are one of my my favorite things to paint. Being able to capture a wonderful scene from nature is so fulfilling. If you are captivated by the beauty of nature and want to record it, this is the class for you. We will cover the fundamentals of landscape painting.
What We Will Learn
In Part 1 of the class we will start our painting adventures learning to simplify the information of a landscape using simple and clear shapes. With landscape it’s all about shapes and values. Using the value scale we create a value study of a landscape. Edges are we creates the feeling of depth as we explore concepts of atmospheric perspective to create depth. Landscapes thrive with great compositions, we will cover the 4 classic composition themes in landscape. The class continues with Part 2 of the Landscape painting series where we explore the techniques for painting rocks, water, trees and clouds. It will be a wonderful experience painting nature.
*basic oil painting skills are required
