Join Me and Learn to Paint Portraits In Oil!
One of my favorite things to paint is portraits and it can be yours too. Portraits can be one of the most challenging subjects. It takes a combination of many skills both painting and drawing to create paintings of people. So join me for this wonderful painting adventure. In this class we explore how to control the illusion of light on the face. Using a limited palette inspired by Andre’ Zorn. We learn to mix the palette and use it to paint a basic portrait from the front view.
*I encourage that you have one year’s oil painting experience and be very comfortable drawing the portrait from the front, profile and 3/4 views. Contact me with questions info@idahoartclasses.com*
