Learning the Wonderful Art Of Watercolor Painting
The Watercolor Painting Class meets Friday afternoons from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm. The painting classes are part of a series including Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced painting. Students will learn the fundamentals for great painting. Each class builds on the previous one to help you improve your painting. Start your painting journey today!
*Those who haven’t taken classes before will begin with Beginning Watercolor Painting 1 class*
What Makes This Class Different?
This class is for anyone whether you have painted before or not. In this class you will paint from real-life objects. The Fundamentals are Powerful Tools; you will learn about your material and brushes along with using limited palette of paints. It’s All About the Techniques; students will learn the techniques of controlling watercolor. It’s All About Color; using the color wheel and simple color principles, we will learn how to mix and match colors accurately. Value is the Key to painting; you will learn to identify and paint correct values. Putting It All Together; students will use their skills to create simple still life paintings using all the concepts taught in the class.
